Hi Adam,

Are these to be Sunday 8pm UK time? When is the 'Starting Point'? It seems odd hosting it during the 2 squad when the mass 2 squad friendlies actually get all spare squads flying. People will have to choose whether they take part in this or the Mass Fun Event which I fear will be bad for both.

Not sure I'll run mass 2-squad in the 2nd half of the season as:

1) Theres been lag issues and questions/flames about running it at the same time as the main league event.

2) Ref tickets aren't been taken as people are flying M2SQD instead. I originally thought it would be a good thing as it would ensure people were logged on and reachable in the event of a missing ref and hence able to cover...............but it seems it doesn't work like that


So Adam, if you want to run something you can probably do so.

its a shame. The mass 2 squad got some very good turnouts however I got to agree with FMJ about there being to many remarks and cheap digs about it being at the same time as the matches and the ref tickets not being picked up.

As I am probably the last one that I know of to say something about the ref tickets for yesterdays match, I apologize to FMJ and Happy if I offended either of you with cheap digs or flaming remarks.

I am really not upset and the event or time it takes place, just that the listed refs cannot step up to the plate to take a match if the ticket is there just before match time. Same thing happened a few weeks ago to a match that 2 other sqds were flying and their C/O had to ref like Gelp did ours.

Soo...that said we either need to revamp the reffing list (which Ghost has done for UK) and get these refs to ref or get some new refs. I will say that each week that I am not in a TKFM match; I have gone to each sanctioned 2 sqd league match to ensure that a ref is in place BEFORE I go and join my team in the mass 2 sqd. IF every sqd had just 1 ref who would do the same, then we would not have an issue at all.

Take this as me calling out to all refs to help resolve this so that our LM may possibly schedule more matches in the 2nd half. Now let’s see who all steps up

Again, sorry to any and all whom I may have offended. I like the mass 2sqd. One suggestion may be to make is 30 to 60 minutes later as in the past I have seen peeps join in after their league match was over or forfeited. After all, we are just trying to promote and encourage more to fly at same time for the longevity of our beloved game.
